Overview

SiteProud is a Bookify service that helps people create, edit, host, and publish websites. This policy explains the information we handle when you use SiteProud, contact us, or submit a form on a website powered by SiteProud.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, name, profile details, workspace membership, and sign-in records.
• Website content: prompts, instructions, uploaded files, images, imported website material, generated content, edits, versions, domains, and publishing settings.
• Form submissions: information a visitor chooses to send through a form on a SiteProud-powered website.
• Billing information: plan, subscription, customer, and transaction identifiers. Stripe processes payment-card details; SiteProud does not receive your complete card number.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, request logs, security events, cookie and session identifiers, and diagnostic information.
• Support communications: messages and attachments you send to SiteProud.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure SiteProud; create and edit websites; save versions; publish and host content; process subscriptions; deliver authentication and service emails; operate form inboxes; provide support; prevent abuse; measure visits and conversions; diagnose failures; and improve reliability and usability.

AI-assisted website creation

Prompts, selected website content, and files may be processed by AI service providers to generate or revise a website. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information that is not necessary for your website. AI output can be inaccurate, so review content before publishing it.

Published websites and forms

Content becomes public when a workspace owner publishes it. A form submission is shared with and stored for the owner of the website that received it. That website owner is responsible for explaining any additional ways they use visitor information and for obtaining any consent their business requires.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate SiteProud, including infrastructure and security, AI processing, transactional email, file storage, payment processing, analytics, and advertising measurement. Current core providers include DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, Google, OpenAI, Postmark, Stripe, and Zoho. They may process information in countries other than yours under their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies and similar technology

SiteProud uses necessary cookies and local browser storage for authentication, security, saved drafts, and product preferences. We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand visits, interactions, traffic sources, and conversions. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information while an account or published website is active and as reasonably needed for security, backups, billing, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. We use access controls, encryption in transit, managed infrastructure, and operational monitoring, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can edit or remove website content, unpublish a website, and manage billing from your account. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

SiteProud is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through SiteProud accounts.
